Disaster Response and Relief

What can we do?

Our hearts are tugged in so many directions as we watch and hear of natural disasters happening in our country and around the world. Praying, giving, donating and going are some ways we can respond to all these natural disasters.

The one response we can all have is prayer. Pray for those who will be impacted the most from the storms/natural disaster and those who will be responding to the aftermath. Pray God will calm the seas and shorten the storm season.

"Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea -- the Lord on high is mighty." Psalm 93:4

Donate Suplies, Give, or Go

Ask God to help you determine how he might be calling you to make a difference in the world today. If you decide to respond immediately by donating, giving or going we recommend that you deal directly with our ministry partners.

When hurricane and monsoon seasons end, the need for help will be great and long term. Our Global Missions Department and church leadership will formulate a plan of action to engage our church community in a way that makes the most sense for us. In the meantime, view each ministry's website to learn where and how they are working currently and how you can respond immediately.
