Through mission trips, serving opportunities within the church, and in the community we hope to provide opportunities to engage the world.

Volunteer opportunities are now available for the annual Boxes of Love campaign. Needs are for bagging groceries, wrapping gifts, distributing food and toys.



716 Ministries

716ministries.org

716 ministries is all about connecting people to opportunities. They value following Jesus and empowering others to better serve and equip the community for the long run. Through their Train 716 program they offer additional skills and training to people in order to secure stable employment. Their needs for new classes starting in January are:

  • Mentors to build a relationship with a trainee and cheer for them in order to build their confidence and share the love of Christ
  • Guest speakers are scheduled for one session where they will answer questions about their careers and what it takes to be successful in their industry
  • Interviewers will participate in one session, interviewing multiple trainees round-robin style and provide feedback to each person they interview
  • Construction CORE Class, Customer Service Class, Soft Skills Class (online)



PATH

PATH is a faith based organization with a mission to end human exploitation through education, prevention and restoration. They provide support services to women and youth who are at risk or have been affected by human trafficking at the Enrichment Center in Buffalo, NY. Learn more at https://pathofwny.org/.



City Mission

The City Mission is currently in need of new men’s sweat suits. By purchasing the items through their Amazon Wish List they can be delivered directly to the City Mission. Jericho Road

As Jericho Road continues to provide high-quality medical care through a time of increased need they are looking for engaging individuals with a desire to get involved. There is a specific need in the areas of nursing and vaccination support, as well as rising to the call of providing support to Afghan asylum seekers. They are looking for LPNs and RNs as well as additional vacant paid positions which can be found here, jrchc.org/careers.
