KidzPark: 6 weeks - 4 years

KidzPark is a beautifully designed, child-friendly environment. Children are divided by age, and each classroom is staffed with loving, caring leaders who desire to minister to each child's spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.

We use My First Look curriculum which is based on Psalm 119:18: "Open my eyes so that I can see the wonderful truths." The program is designed to give children a first impression of their loving Heavenly Father, so they will know these three main truths:

  1. God Made Me
  2. God Loves Me
  3. Jesus wants to be my Friend Forever

Each week, children will explore one of these principals through a Bible Story, a Key Question, a Bottom Line, and a Memory Verse.

COVID-19 Updates: What to Expect

Face masks or coverings are currently required to be worn by volunteers and adult church members at church. Infants through 5-years-old are exempt from this order; however, at your discretion you may wish to have your child wear a mask as they travel through the common areas of the church. For safety reasons, children under the age of two will not be permitted to wear a covering of any kind.

Sanitizing/Disinfecting: We are extremely proud of how our volunteers and staff have always taken ownership for the cleanliness of the classrooms and ministry spaces. We have a nightly, professional cleaning crew as well as new in-house equipment. ALL children and students are required to sanitize hands at drop-off. There will be hand sanitizer stations in each environment.

Drop-off/Pick-up: Parents will check in their children at the Next Gen Check-in Desk. The Registration Team will facilitate a touchless check-in process for families. Parents will be asked to conduct lengthy conversations outside of the ministry areas. We will need to limit parents’ time in the ministry environments at drop-off and pick-up.

Physical Distancing: For preschool children we will limit class sizes to 12 children.

These broad strokes will help to minimize high congestion and high interaction moments.

Sick Policy: Children who are ill may not attend the Preschool Ministry and must remain at home. Parents are asked to do a health assessment on their children and family before coming to worship services.

  • In the event a parent, child, or Next Gen Leader tests positive for COVID-19, they will not be permitted into the church until cleared by their physician or as directed by our local health agencies.
  • In the event a household member of either a child or Next Gen Leader tests positive for COVID-19, the child or Next Gen Leader will not be permitted to return to the ministry/church for 10 days or as directed by our local health agencies.
  • We will confer with the appropriate government agencies regarding closures due to COVID-19 illnesses at our church or within our community.

We will continue to adapt to COVID-19 and make additional changes as conditions warrant. Our team will continue to do all we can to keep the children in our ministry environments safe. We will continue following what those in authority over us have deemed necessary.

Baby Dedication

The first step on the pathway is Baby Dedication. Parents learn how to become primary faith trainers for their children and accept the responsibility at our Baby Dedication Class, offered every other month. Resources and learning opportunities are provided for the new parents desiring to dedicate their child to the Lord.

Upcoming Class: Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 10:15am in the Meeting Place.
