Ball Hockey Winter League

Saturdays, February 29 - March 28, 2020

If you have a child in Kindergarten to 8th grade, this is a great chance to get them involved in a fun, competitive, God-centered league.

9am-10:30am for Grades 6-8

10:45am-12:15pm for Grades 3-5

12:30pm-2pm for EHPS Transitional Kindergarten (age 5 before 1/1/2020) and Kindergarten-Grade 2

Each 1.5 hour session is divided into skills and drills training, team huddle time, and scrimmaging. Our league is designed to teach foundational fundamentals through well-developed practices, take home drills and healthy competition. Athletes will develop skills on both offense and defense. Solid fundamentals such as footwork, shooting, passing, stick handling, defensive and offensive movements and plays. Unique substitution system guarantees each child to play at least half of every game and have the opportunity to be in the starting lineup during the season. Referees serve as "on the court coaches" while officiating during the games. Parent volunteers are welcome.

Cost per child: $40

A t-shirt is included with registration.

Required Safety Equipment (not provided): CSA approved hockey helmet with full face protector, running shoes, protective gloves, shin guards and hockey stick with plastic blade.

Registration for each division closes when 40 kids have registered or by February 26 (at noon), whichever comes first. All registrations will close at noon on February 26. Walk-ins are welcome to fill any additional openings on the morning of February 29. We will not accept registrations after this date unless there is room in the appropriate division. If it is full, we cannot accept more players.

volunteer opportunities

This league runs on YOU, our wonderful volunteers. Each year, a team of fun, energetic individuals use their love of kids and gifts and talents to work with these amazing kids.

Some of the opportunities, besides coaches and assistant coaches, are registration (Feb 29 only), cafe servers, tech, referees, set up, tear down, prep work and weekly packing. People interested in serving as devotion leaders can contact Donna ( directly.

Click the button below to check out the opportunities and their time commitments, then check your schedule. Please note that all coaches and assistant coaches will need to attend all five weeks of camp. Pick the division that you would like to work with and register for each day you are available.

Next, fill out the volunteer application (if it has not been done in the last three years) and background check (if you are over 18 years of age). This is policy and must be completed to work with children and students. Thank you for understanding.
