Virtual VBS Experience

Your preschoolers through preteens will have a blast as they discover how to trust in what they CAN’T see because of what they CAN see! Focus VBS: Virtual Experience will teach kids to explore four different ways we can FOCUS on God: HEAR, TALK, PRAY, LOVE.
This summer may look completely different from what any of us had planned, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on any of the FUN! All kids will receive a special VBS Kit with everything they need to do crafts, games, challenges and activities from home with family, friends or neighbors. Once a week we'll connect online for worship and teaching.
At the end of five weeks, we will close out Focus VBS with a celebration together at our Fam Jam Drive-In Movie!
Kids who have completed Grades K-5 will be assigned to a “TEAM.” They will have weekly challenges to complete to earn points for their team. We will also host “socially-distanced” Parking Lot Team Rallies Wednesday evenings July 1, 8 and 15 from 6:30pm-7:15pm with games and discussions to help us stay FOCUSED throughout our five-week adventure!
VBS KITS can be picked up at Eastern Hills Church starting Sunday, June 21. Pick-up Parties will also take place Wednesday, June 24, from 1pm-3pm and Friday, June 26 from 10am -12pm.

What does a virtual VBS look like? Great question! In short, that’s completely up to you. The weekly activities will take about two hours to complete. We suggest you begin with the Weekly Videos and Leader Devo’s. Then move on to the activities, crafts and games. You can do them all at once or spread them throughout the day or the week … whatever works best for your family!
What are Parking Lot Team Rallies? Parking Lot Team Rallies will take place on Wednesday evenings July 1, 8, and 15, from 6:30pm-7:15pm in the EH Church parking lot. Families will drive in, find their child’s Team/Grade Color, park and socially distance from the back of your SUV or bring your own lawn chairs. Have Team Discussions, Prayer Time, and safe, fun Game Time. It is not required for kids to attend these, but this will be a fun way to get kids reconnecting with church friends and leaders while staying motivated over the five weeks of Virtual VBS.
Join the Community. Virtual VBS is meant to shared. We love to see photos of you and your kiddos having fun! Share stories, photos and videos of VBS activities with us on our “EH FAMILIES” Facebook group. You’ll find our Facebook community at EHchurch NextGen.
You’re not alone! This year looks different than what we’re all used to when it comes to summer and our typical Mega Camp. Don’t worry, we’re still in this together. The Lord is creating new opportunities for parents to be spiritual champions for their children. Can my kids invite friends to participate? That is a big huge YES!!! At registration you can select to be an “Ambassador” to purchase VBS Kits at a discounted price of $5/kit for friends, neighborhood kids, anyone the Lord lays on your heart to invite and include in this adventure.
