“A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:32-33
The Lord did not have Coronavirus in mind as the reason for us being scattered to our own homes. But it is true that because of it we are having trouble in this world. But we can take heart for He has overcome the world!
What does this mean for worship service?
Currently, services are being held at 9am and 11am with limited seating. We may ask that you reserve your seat each Sunday by registering at ehwc.org/together to ensure we are not over our capacity limit set by our government. Both services will also be streamed live through multiple channels all listed at ehwc.org/live. Our staff will be doing a live chat on YouTube and Facebook Live during the services to take prayer requests or answer questions. Notes can be found on the YouVersion Bible App: click on events under “more” and look for Eastern Hills Church. Be sure to check in through our online connection card (ehwc.org/hello) to let us know you're with us and/or to share a prayer request.

How can I get new updates?
Updates from the church will continue to come as necessary. All updates will be sent to our church attenders by email, posted on our Facebook page, and posted on this FAQ page in chronological order (see below).
How can I stay connected to people?
We have more potential for communication and connection than any other time in history. Text, call, video message your relatives, your small group members, the people who usually sat behind your pew on Sundays... leave a note for your neighbors and ask if they need anything next time you go to the grocery store. Accept that offer from one of your neighbors if they give it too! We have extra resources listed here as well (keep scrolling down!).
What if I have a prayer need or question?
Call the church at 716-688-7165. You'll get a staff member or a message with instructions on how to reach someone. You can also submit prayer requests through our online connection card (ehwc.org/hello). We are still here for you!
