In the commission Jesus gave His church, He said: “Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'” Matthew 28:18-20

We believe that God moves when every one of us is seeking to fulfill this commission. Therefore, we will achieve this goal through:

  1. Continually building an atmosphere that fosters and holds as a high expectation that every disciple of Jesus will be seeking to make disciples.
  2. Doing everything possible to support the efforts of every disciple who is making disciples. This includes providing resources, opportunities, and encouragement.

The ultimate goal is that the kingdom movement will be multiplied exponentially across our community and beyond as every person seeks to make disciples. Disciple-making means seeking to initiate spiritual conversations with those who are far from Jesus and praying that the Lord will draw them, sharing the Gospel with those who are interested in knowing, and teaching and encouraging new believers in what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
